India is a country where each and every festival is celebrated on a grand scale and with huge passion and enthusiasm。 However, in the recent times, it is seen that the technology has evolved and the world has become a singular canvas, the result of which is often seen in how children are now more and more inclined towards learnings of science and fiction。 But in doing so, they are forgetting about our own vivid and vast rich culture that has been there since the ancient times。 ‘Amma, Tell Me Abo India is a country where each and every festival is celebrated on a grand scale and with huge passion and enthusiasm。 However, in the recent times, it is seen that the technology has evolved and the world has become a singular canvas, the result of which is often seen in how children are now more and more inclined towards learnings of science and fiction。 But in doing so, they are forgetting about our own vivid and vast rich culture that has been there since the ancient times。 ‘Amma, Tell Me About The Avatars of Vishnu’ by Bhakti Mathur is a great effort by the author to relegate the stories from our mythology in order to ensnare the younger generation in not only learning more about our customs and traditions but to also imbibe in them a habit of reading。 Being the foremost part of the series, the book tells about the first Avatar: Matsya, out of the ten primary Avatars of Lord Vishnu, often called as Dashavatar, in which he descended in every incarnation to restore cosmic order。The book is told in the form of the protagonist, Amma narrating the story to Klaka and Kiki。 The language of the book has been kept quite informal in order for the readers to connect and relate with it quite easily。The illustrations were so beautiful and blended well together with all the glossy pages, it really was a treat for the eyes as well。 I'm going to give this book FIVE AMMA STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 。。。more

The best part about the book is it helps you know about they mythology characters in an enchanting way 。The story line is very interesting and the lil one's attention is fixed in it due to its illustration s and catchy story line 。I think this book would help other children to learn that trying new things can be scary, but sometimes when we try, we can overcome anything。Go for this book if you want to teach your kids about mythology。 The best part about the book is it helps you know about they mythology characters in an enchanting way 。The story line is very interesting and the lil one's attention is fixed in it due to its illustration s and catchy story line 。I think this book would help other children to learn that trying new things can be scary, but sometimes when we try, we can overcome anything。Go for this book if you want to teach your kids about mythology。 。。。more
